Ronald Boom is a Dutch painter who graduated in 2021 from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Ronald works with a self-developed "painting matrix": a generative, morphological system that arranges influences into unexpected combinations and then yields control to play and chance. This results in intriguing works that are both exploratory and innovative. His paintings, often numbered by the weeks of his life, mark time within a continuously evolving practice.
